The main differences compared to premium daily silicone hydrogel lenses such as Acuvue Oasys 1-Day or Dailies Total1 are material and oxygen transmissibility: Visco Vision uses a conventional hydrogel material, while premium lenses use silicone hydrogel, which allows significantly more oxygen to reach the cornea. For occasional or part-time wearers, Visco Vision offers good value. For full-day daily wear, your optician may recommend a silicone hydrogel lens for better long-term eye health, a material which is also available by Viscovision.
