Hycosan Eye Care

Hycosan is a range of preservative-free lubricating eye drops from Ursapharm, used to relieve the symptoms of dry eye syndrome. The range uses sodium hyaluronate as its active ingredient, a naturally occurring molecule that mimics the moisture-retaining properties of the tear film. Hycosan Plus (0.1%) offers effective relief for more severe and persistent dry eye symptoms; it also contains Dexpanthenol, which provides the eye's surface with an optimal environment to support healing post-operation or after eye injury. Yes. All Hycosan formulations except Hycosan Night are compatible with soft contact lenses and can be used during lens wear. Hycosan Night is a thicker, gel-based formulation designed for overnight use or for wearers with severe dry eye and should only be used when lenses aren't being worn. To use Hycosan during lens wear, tilt your head back slightly, apply one drop to each eye, and blink gently to distribute the solution. 

Hycosan can be used as often as needed throughout the day. Because Hycosan is preservative-free and delivered via a multi-dose bottle with an integrated COMOD system, it maintains sterility across multiple uses. Each bottle provides up to 300 drops and has a shelf life of six months once opened. The preservative-free formula means there's no risk of preservative buildup on the lens surface, making it well-suited to regular daily use.
