Acuvue Oasys Max 1-Day has a distinctive green-yellow appearance because the lens features an Opti-blue light filter. By filtering blue-violet light (otherwise known as high energy visible light/HEVL), this technology maximises visual clarity. This is not the same as a handling tint, which is used for easy identification of the lens.

On the eye, Acuvue Oasys Max 1-Day lenses have a subtle yellow tint. These lenses are not designed to change or enhance one's eye colour, but wearers may find the yellow tinge more apparent if the eyes are lighter in colour. However, the overall appearance is natural.

No. There is no evidence to suggest this.

Silicone hydrogel lenses can feel slightly stiffer than traditional hydrogel lenses because silicone is a firmer material than hydrogel alone. The trade-off is worthwhile: silicone allows significantly more oxygen to reach the cornea, which supports long-term eye health, allowing the lens to be worn for longer periods. Most wearers don't notice any difference following insertion, and many find silicone hydrogel lenses more comfortable across the course of the day than thinner hydrogel alternatives.
