everclear Eye Care

everclear is a range of monthly, two weekly and daily contact lenses, solutions and eye drops exclusive to Vision Direct. Originally named Aura, the range has evolved into a comprehensive collection of soft contact lenses and eye care products for contact lens wearers looking to save their money to see more of life.

2011 - Aura UV is launched as an alternative affordable lens to what was then available. Manufactured by R&L Vision, Aura UV featured innovative Edge-Lift technology, which allowed more oxygen to pass to eye than many other lenses. Aura UV was particularly well known for keeping the corners of the eyes moist.

2012 - Launched in 2012, Aura ADM was attractively priced, and in various ways was comparable to existing lenses, but they had the advantage of being treated with a special hydrogel solution for increased comfort. This meant users favoured them over many other daily lenses.

2017 - The whole range is revamped and renamed everclear. everclear is available exclusively on Vision Direct.

everclear ELITE comes to market. A comfortable lens which locks in moisture for up to 12 hours, ELITE can replace 1-Day Acuvue Trueye, Clariti 1 Day and MYDay.

everclear AIR is launched as an extremely competitively priced monthly lens. The high-water content of this lens keeps eyes moisturised all day, which helps for avoiding digital screen strain. You can wear these if you've previously worn Air Optix Aqua or Biofinity.

everclear PLUS 2-weekly lenses were released in 2017. They can be worn for 14 consecutive days, making them more convenient than daily lenses. For users concerned about hygiene, everclear PLUS is also a better option than monthly lenses. Wear Acuvue Oasys or Acuvue Advance, why not give everclear PLUS a go and upgrade?

2022 - Vision Direct launches everclear ACTIVE, the daily disposables for those living an active lifestyle. In addition to its contact lens range, everclear produces eye care products available at Vision Direct. These include everclear Eye Drops, a lubricating drop suitable for use with contact lenses in situ, and everclear REFRESH All In One Solution, a multi-purpose contact lens solution for cleaning, rinsing, disinfecting, and storing reusable soft lenses. everclear Eye Drops are made from natural ingredients and provide fast relief from dry, tired, or irritated eyes caused by screen use, environmental factors, or contact lens wear. The everclear REFRESH travel pack is also available for wearers who need a compact solution for trips.

Yes. everclear Eye Drops are compatible with all types of soft contact lenses and can be used while your lenses are in your eyes. They provide lubrication that re-wets lenses during wear, helping to relieve dryness and discomfort throughout the day. The drops can be used day or night, with or without lenses in place. Apply one to two drops to each eye and blink a few times to distribute the drops across the lens surface. If dryness persists despite regular use, consult your optician. 

everclear REFRESH All In One Solution is Vision Direct's own-brand multi-purpose solution, designed specifically for use with everclear lenses while being fully compatible with most other soft contact lens materials. As an own-brand product sold through Vision Direct, it is priced significantly lower than branded alternatives such as Biotrue, Renu, or Opti-Free, making it excellent value for regular wearers. It cleans, rinses, disinfects, and stores lenses in a single step, and it is available in a standard 250 ml bottle as well as a travel-pack format for convenience on the go.

everclear Eye Drops are made from natural ingredients and are formulated to be gentle on the eye, making them suitable for most wearers, including those with sensitive eyes. For contact lens wearers who experience sensitivity to preservatives in standard multi-purpose solutions, it is worth checking the everclear REFRESH formulation and consulting your optician if you have a known preservative intolerance. For wearers with significant sensitivity, a preservative-free hydrogen peroxide system such as Easysept or AOSEPT PLUS may be more appropriate for lens storage. Your optician can advise the best combination of eye drops and solution for your specific needs.
