AOSEPT PLUS is a hydrogen peroxide solution used to clean, disinfect, and store contact lenses. When you place lenses in the special AOSEPT lens case and fill it with solution, the disc located at the bottom of the case triggers a reaction that converts the hydrogen peroxide into a safe solution after a minimum soaking period of 6 hours. This neutralisation process is essential: lenses must not be inserted before it is complete, as unprocessed hydrogen peroxide would cause significant eye irritation. The result is deeply cleaned lenses stored in a gentle, preservative-free saline solution.
