To use a complete multi-purpose solution, place each lens in your palm, apply a few drops of solution, and rub gently for around 20 seconds. Rinse with fresh solution, then place the lens in a clean case filled with fresh solution. Never top up old solution; discard the previous night's solution each time, rinse the case with fresh solution, and leave it to air dry face down on a clean tissue when not in use. Replace your lens case at least every one to three months. Once opened, Complete solution should be used within 90 days.

Contact lenses stored in AMO Complete multi-purpose solution shouldn't be stored for longer than three days if not worn full everyday, otherwise, 24 hours. Always check the specific storage guidelines on the product you're using, as recommendations can vary between formulations. Never use solution that has passed its expiry date, and always discard solution from the lens case after each use. Don't top up old solution with fresh product.

AMO Complete solutions contain preservatives to maintain sterility and disinfect lenses during storage, which is standard for multi-purpose solutions. For the vast majority of wearers, the preservative system used in Complete is well-tolerated. However, people with known sensitivity to preservatives, or those who experience redness or irritation when using a multi-purpose solution, may be better suited to a hydrogen peroxide-based system such as AOSEPT PLUS or Easysept, which is preservative-free after neutralisation. Consult your optician if you suspect a solution sensitivity.
