More information about Avaira
Avaira contact lenses, from optical pioneers CooperVision, are monthly lenses that combine modern technologies and unique materials to offer an incredibly comfortable lens and crystal-clear vision for both long-sightedness and short-sightedness contact lens wearers. Avaira lenses are designed using the latest Aquaform® Comfort Science™, using soft and flexible silicone hydrogel to allow more oxygen to reach your eyes than a typical lens. There is also a moisture cushion bound to the surface of each lens, ensuring that your eyes stay hydrated and comfortable throughout the day, without the need for any extra wetting agents.
Wearing Avaira contact lenses helps to protect your eyes from harmful UV radiation, as they block nearly 75% of all UV-A rays and 99% of UV-B rays to help minimise deterioration caused by sun damage. As a monthly lens Avaira can be worn for 30 consecutive days, provided the lenses are cleaned and stored in solution each night.
Avaira Vitality are the latest in the Avaira range and offer improved UV blocking and a higher water content.
