Bausch & Lomb’s EasySept, like Ciba Vision’s AO-SEPT, neutralises using the catalytic disc incorporated in the lens holder. This converts the peroxide solution to a preservative free saline. EasySept Plus can be used for all soft contact lenses and is suitable for sensitive eyes. Tip: for an extra rinse use Vision Direct Saline 360ml.

This is not my usual solution but I tried it for the first time and had a nasty experience. I soaked my lenses as usual for 2 hours. I put this first one in my eye and it hurt like hell. When I started to read the small print very small print it said you have to leave it soaking for at least 6 hours to neutralise the bleech in the solution. My I was sore and bloodshot for 48 hours.

I've been using this solution for about 2 years and I found it very good for my lenses and it does last for a long time i do an order every 6 months

I've used this for ages now and it works fine. The instructions are really very simple and it says clearly soak for 6 hours to enable the solution to react fully

Solo Sept is very similar to the Easysept solution. Its preservative free and much more economical! more info
